This black and white stairway is something special!! But the colours used will looks spectacular on stairs which are much smaller.
The Spindles we painted using Johnstone’s Aqua Guard mixed into Zombie, which is almost true black and from the Johnstone’s colour range. Aqua Guard is a fully water-based satinwood product, designed to be very durable. As it’s a fully water-based product, it will never discolour over time.
The white is Johnstone’s Candle Smoke, again, the colour was mixed into Johnstone’s Aqua Guard. This was the same colour used on the walls and ceiling.
The handrail is Johnstone’s woodworks Redwood and Ebony mix
