Teal is a rich, deep, and bold colour named after the bird. Even though it is quite cold, it’s also very vibrant and fun. The walls were completed using Wicks Tough and Washable, which is a durable matt emulsion, making it perfect for a high-traffic area like a hallway. You should avoid using standard vinyl matt for deep colours in areas such as this, as they mark easily.
The woodwork was finished using Johnstone’s Aqua Guard Satin, which is a fully water-based product and a favourite amongst decorators. By using a fully water-based product, you know the finish will never discolour.
Johnstone’s Covaplus in white was used on the ceilings. This is a standard trade-quality matt emulsion with great opacity and a gorgeous finish.
