This stunning hall, stairs and landing is painted in a colour called On The Rocks by Valspar, but the colour was matched to Tikkurila Optiva 5. You can do this easily when ordering paint online from certain stockists.
On The Rocks is an earthy colour, which is very contemporary and would look great in any tryp of room. It’s an approaching colour, which means it will make a room feel cosy, and it’s metameric, meaning is seems to change shade slightly at different stages of the day.
Tikkurila Optiva 5 is a trade-quality durable matt emulsion with a low sheen level. Opacity is good, as is ease of use. You will achieve a great finish every time with this product.
The Ceiling was painted with Tikkurila Anti-Reflex 2, which is widely regarded as one of the best ceiling paints amongst decorators.
The woodwork was painted in Teknos Futura Aqua in white. This is a very durable water-based satinwood.
