The units in this kitchen were painted in Farrow and Ball Railings, which is a dramatic deep grey colour. More blue than black, Railings is a softer alternative to black which is also suited to the ironwork it takes its name from. This would suit any large modern kitchen and looks very contemporary.
The product used is Farrow and Ball Modern Eggshell which is a fully water-based paint with a 40%. The decorator sprayed these kitchen units, however you can achieve a great finish on this type of job by hand painting. Just get your prep right and use a good adhesion primer such as Zinsser BIN.
