This living room was painted just before Christmas. Farrow and Ball no.6 (London Stone) was one of the original colours from the famous range at Farrow and Ball. It is a warm mid brown. London Stone was created by John Sutcliffe for a classic Nash house in Regent’s Park. It feels effortlessly modern either on walls or woodwork. It is an approaching colour, so will make any room feel cosy. The product used was Farrow and Ball Estate Emulsion, which leaves a rich chalky finish.
The coving was completed using Tikkurila Anti-Reflex, which leaves a soft, luxurious finish. This product was recently voted the best ceiling paint on the Decorators Forum UK.
