This Lounge was painted in Farrow and Ball Hugh Blue. The paint used is Modern Emulsion, which is a tough durable paint with a great depth to it. Hugh Blue is a very striking and bold colour.
Bold colours like this are becoming increasingly popular and they can really add a sense of drama to a house! People are becoming braver, and we’d urge everyone to do the same, especially in large or open plan rooms like this.
The white on the ceiling is Tikkurila Anti-Reflex, which is a soft ‘ultra-matt’ finish. This is a specialist ceiling paint, designed light critical areas as it will never show any defects. The softness of the white gives a great backdrop for the Hugh Blue Walls.
