This is the lounge of a grade two listed barn conversion.
The walls where painted Brilliant White for a sense of crisp, clean space. The product used was Johnstone’s Covaplus, which is a trade quality vinyl matt emulsion. You’ll find this emulsion has great opacity and leaves a lovely finish.
The skirting boards, door frame and door were painted in Dulux Diamond Eggshell in Brilliant White. This is a fully water-based product, so will never discolour over time.
The beams were finished in Johnstone’s Wood Works Opaque in Jacobean Oak. This offers the perfect contrast against the white.
